Disks

The Four of Disks is material matters in action. Typically this is fortuitous if matters are in good order, but all activity involves some amount of risk. Material activity also implies friction and wear. While there is strength there may also be tiring.

The Thoth Tarot calls this "Power" and this seems appropriate as does the imagery of what may be a fortress but also implying perhaps a factory.

The Rider-Waite-Smith deck fits less well, but still regards matters of risk somewhat.

The Queen of Disks sits upon her throne of stone, statuesque, fixing you in her gaze. Behind her rises a dormant volcano.

The Queen of Disks is direct, reliable, and a realist. She is a good listener and will tell you what you need to hear, which is usually that you already knew the answer before you asked it.
